The 19th Heads of State and Government Summit of the Group of 20 (G20) will take place in November 2024 in Rio de Janeiro, marking Brazil's first term as the G20 rotating presidency as South America’s largest economy.

Ana Cristina Carvalho, Chair of the Tourism Association at Federation Chambers of Foreign Trade (FCCE) of Brazil, shared in an interview with China News Network that this year, which marks the 50th anniversary of Brazil-China diplomatic ties, has seen significant progress in bilateral relations. In particular, enhanced diplomatic relations have made travel between the two countries more accessible.

Ana further noted that this year’s G20 in Rio offers a comprehensive platform for participants to discuss topics such as health, education, and urban quality of life. 记者在采访中了解到，目前，我国已经有80%的钢铁企业利用工业互联网技术实现智能化生产，智能化企业运营管理已经达到了57%。在绿色化方面，重点钢铁企业统计的吨钢综合能耗已经由2005年的694千克标准煤下降到了557千克标准煤，二氧化硫的排放量削减的幅度达到了92.6%，烟粉尘排放量削减幅度达到了88.5%。
